About The Position

EKN Engineering is seeking a Data Analyst II to work with internal and external stakeholders, anticipate their needs, and foster a data-led culture. The role bridges technical expertise and business insight by managing, validating, and visualizing key metrics; developing reports that support strategic decisions; and providing insights to improve product performance. The successful candidate will turn data into information, insight, and business decisions while collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, user analytics, or a related field.
• Experience gathering and building requirements for analytics or project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office.
• Intermediate-level proficiency using SQL or a similar query language.
• Exceptional problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization software.
• Experience with Pendo, Amplitude, Google Tag Manager, or a related tool.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data, analyze results, and identify opportunities for optimization or growth.
• Manage data and pipelines across reports and data sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize reporting and analytics requirements, translating business needs into actionable solutions through business analysis, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven insights.
• Partner with executives and stakeholders to prioritize business and opportunity needs.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Analyze user interactions and behavior to identify high-value actions and insights.
• Identify key data points and design pipelines and data flows to support product metrics, analytics, and performance reporting.
