About The Position

Lyfegen is a company transforming healthcare by bridging the gap to faster, smarter access with pricing, access, and rebate management solutions. Their platform is utilized by health insurers, governments, hospital payers, and pharmaceutical companies globally to simplify drug pricing agreements, optimize rebates, and enhance value. As a growing leader in drug access and rebate management, Lyfegen is seeking passionate professionals to join their team and contribute to shaping the future of healthcare. This role specifically supports the US consulting team by transforming claims and clinical data into insights for pricing and contracting decisions, and ensuring the smooth operation of value-based agreements post-implementation. The position involves manipulating and analyzing large volumes of claims data, cost sheets, spending, and utilization data. Lyfegen is looking for proactive problem-solvers who can turn complexity into opportunity and help improve patient access to medicines.

Requirements

  • Comfortable analyzing large, complex, and sometimes messy healthcare datasets.
  • Working knowledge of health economics & outcomes research (HEOR) principles.
  • Hands-on experience with US claims data (Medicare, Medicaid, and/or commercial).
  • Proficient in SQL; experience with SAS, R, or Python is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with academic training in health economics, biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or a related quantitative field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Around 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset suited to a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale US claims data (Medicare, Medicaid, and/or commercial) and clinical datasets to support pricing and contracting recommendations, in partnership with Lyfegen's US consulting team.
  • Support the adjudication of signed value-based agreements (VBAs), using Lyfegen's proprietary tools to review claims data and identify and validate rebates the customer is eligible for.
  • Build and maintain analyses of cost sheets, spending, and utilization data to inform both strategic recommendations and day-to-day contract execution.
  • Apply health economics methods, such as cost-effectiveness modeling, budget impact modeling, and comparative effectiveness analysis, to translate raw data into decision-useful output.
  • Collaborate with the consulting and product teams to ensure analysis is client-ready, technically sound, and delivered on time.
  • Maintain rigorous QC and validation standards given the scale and complexity of claims datasets.

Benefits

  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • An attractive and competitive compensation package aligned with the dynamic nature of a scale-up start-up.
