About The Position

This role focuses on data analytics with a strong emphasis on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The Data Analyst will be responsible for working with large, complex datasets, supporting enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics products. A key aspect of the role involves troubleshooting data quality, ingestion, and pipeline issues, with a specific requirement for GeoSpatial or GeoPandas experience.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in data analytics or business intelligence working with large, complex datasets.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics products.
• Ability to troubleshoot data quality, ingestion, and pipeline issues.
• GeoSpatial OR GeoPandas Experience
• Experience with Power BI, PySpark/Python, geospatial/raster datasets (e.g., GeoTIFFs), statistical concepts, multithreading, ETL/ELT, and Git.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization; writes maintainable, reusable SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, or similar; understands ingestion, storage, and transformation.
• Experience with Python plotting libraries and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepare analysis-ready datasets.
• Write production-ready code with error handling.
• Identify data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate fixes.
• Understand performance impacts of data structures.
• Support enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics products.
• Troubleshoot data quality, ingestion, and pipeline issues.
