About The Position

We are seeking a Data Analyst/Engineer who is passionate about delivering Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS). In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw business requirements and technical data solutions. Working within the Azure ecosystem, Databricks, and the Microsoft stack, you will curate data, perform deep data exploration, prepare data for analytics, and deliver impactful Power BI visualizations. You will also act as a key consultative partner, translating functional customer needs into end-to-end data flows that ensure stakeholders have access to clean, reliable, and actionable insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or Data Consultant
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with functional customers, elicit requirements, and present complex findings clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in designing complex, high-performance dashboards, managing datasets, and publishing within the Power BI ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience developing independent, functional business applications to solve data-entry or workflow challenges
  • Hands-on experience building and managing automated data pipelines and performing analysis within the Databricks ecosystem
  • Familiarity working within Azure cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with data marts, data warehouses, and medallion architecture
  • Expert SQL skills for data transformation and Python for automating workflows and exploring large datasets
  • Foundational knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including how they can accelerate data analysis and automation tasks, as well as an understanding of their limitations, reliability, and responsible use
  • Deep understanding of Delta Lake and cloud-based data warehousing concept
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Tableau dashboard design and migration in addition to mandatory Power BI skills

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with functional customers to capture business needs., translating
  • Serve as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical business leaders, ensuring alignment and clear delivery schedules
  • Architect and maintain Power BI dashboards (and optional Tableau reports)
  • Design and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps to streamline data collection, user inputs, and operational workflows
  • Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis using SQL and Python to identify trends and anomalies, ensuring data is fit for purpose
  • Work within the Azure cloud environment (including platforms like ARES) to ensure secure, compliant, and optimized data hosting and processing
  • Maintain rigorous data quality standards and technical documentation to ensure transparency and trust across all analytical products
