Data Analyst Co-Op
About The Position
In this role, your responsibilities will include assisting in designing data architecture and organizing data from manufacturing and global service partners, as well as front end ordering systems. You will develop and implement automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks in preparation for analysis. You will collaborate with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics, identifying trends and data features. Additionally, you will contribute to planning and road mapping new features and functionality, support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models, and create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives. You will also document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams, and assist with other project activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related engineering or science field
- Experience with SQL and Python
Nice To Haves
- Junior or Senior class standing
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills desired
- Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
- Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools are a plus
