About The Position

As a Data Analyst Co-op, you will apply your knowledge and experience of data modelling to solve challenging business problems and bring innovative solutions. You’ll work closely with senior team members regarding BI and data analytics platforms for the organization. You’ll work with real-world structured and unstructured datasets to produce end-to-end solutions, taking models from experiment to deployment. Additionally, you'll be exposed to various groups across the organization through collaboration and coordination on projects. At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible.
Excellent verbal and writing skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve evaluation, interpretation, and assessment.
