About The Position

The Future Talent Program within the Research & Development Division’s Data, AI, and Genome Sciences Department is offering a 10–12-week internship in the AI/ML Methods & Modeling Group. There is one open position. Interns may contribute to one or more projects designed to help students develop their skills and assess whether the company aligns with their long-term goals. The role involves developing statistical and computational methods and pipelines to analyze genetic and genomic datasets; analyzing large-scale human genetic and genomic datasets to support discovery of novel targets and biomarkers of disease risk and progression; and working with an integrated, interdisciplinary team on validation efforts, including bioinformatic analysis of bulk and single-cell sequencing. The position is full-time for 12 weeks in Cambridge, Massachusetts, beginning in May or June 2027. No relocation or travel is provided or required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related technical field.
