At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. Blue Origin's New Glenn Component Test team designs, builds, and operates the test systems used to qualify and accept hardware across the New Glenn launch vehicle. We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are committed to a culture of safety. This position directly impacts the history of space exploration and requires a commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable space flight. We are seeking a Data Acquisition and Controls Engineer II to support the entire Component Test team on a fixed-term basis. In this role you will develop data acquisition (DAQ) systems and create the electrical schematics and harness/wiring diagrams that instrument, power, and interconnect our test stands. You will work hands-on across a broad range of component test activities, partnering with test, manufacturing, and responsible engineers to turn data acquisition requirements into reliable, well-documented electrical designs.
