About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking experienced dance teachers to join the teaching team at Evolve Dance Company in Rockford, IL. This growing studio focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment and is looking for instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. The role involves teaching all styles and levels, with a specific need for availability on Thursdays from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and willingness to substitute teach throughout the week (Monday - Thursday, 4:00-9:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM-12:00 AM). Requirements

Experience teaching all styles and levels of dance.
Availability on Thursdays from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
Willingness to substitute teach throughout the week (Monday - Thursday, 4:00-9:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM-12:00 AM).
Pass a routine background check.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Instruct group classes in teaching foundational dance technique in multiple styles.
Utilize a solid foundation in various dance styles.
Choreograph recital dances for recreational students.
Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
