About The Position

Under the supervision of the Administrator of Educational Services, the instructor teaches dance to teens and young adults currently incarcerated and served by the Orange County Probation Department. Instruction covers dance techniques across styles such as hip hop, contemporary, jazz, and cultural dance, as well as choreography, rhythm and musicality, performance skills, and safe movement practices. The instructor uses dance to build students’ discipline, teamwork, and self-expression.
