Dance Instructors, San Ramon
About The Position
Equinox's location in San Ramon is currently seeking Dance Instructors. The position entails delivering the Equinox Experience to members in each class, adhering to the class description, and modifying intensity for participants when necessary. Instructors will continuously monitor exercise intensity throughout the class, ensure classes begin and end on time, and teach respective classes on a regular basis while keeping subbing to a minimum. Communication with the Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling, and subbing is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Instructors must possess a current certification in their discipline or Dance Education
- Have experience teaching in a group environment
- Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
- Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, exercise modifications for all populations
- Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education
- Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
- Must have a legal right to work in the United States
