Part-Time Dance Instructor/Choreographer
About The Position
DivaDance is seeking a part-time Dance Instructor/Choreographer to lead pop-music inspired dance classes for adults. This role involves teaching original choreography, setting up and breaking down studio spaces, greeting clients, nurturing leads, maintaining class notes, building relationships with clients and team members, and participating in team events. The ideal candidate has a big personality, experience choreographing and teaching adults, is reliable and responsive, and is passionate about inspiring confidence and building community in an inclusive, all-levels environment. All selected candidates must complete an online Instructor Development Program before teaching.
Requirements
- Experience in dance, group fitness, cheer, or performance coaching
- Previous experience teaching and choreographing adults
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable using technology (Slack, Mindbody, Spotify)
- Applications must include a video link of your original choreography
- Must complete online Instructor Development Program before teaching
- Must complete a 60-day introductory period with coaching and feedback
- Must agree to a Non-Compete Agreement

Responsibilities
- Lead fun, high-energy dance classes for adults that align with DivaDance brand standards
- Partner with the class host to help with basic studio setup, breakdown, and cleanliness
- Greet clients, nurture in-class leads, and maintain class notes
- Build authentic relationships with clients and fellow team members
- Participate in team trainings, meetings, and community events
- Represent the DivaDance brand with personality and professionalism
