About The Position

Class Assistant for either the Hip Hop I or Hip Hop II movement intensive dance class. The Class Assistant will assist the course instructor by helping to demonstrate course movement material, assisting students during class practice, helping take attendance, and may run practice sessions outside of the regular class period.

Requirements

• Hip Hop Dance experience beyond the beginning level
• The ability to demonstrate Hip Hop dance movement material accurately and clearly
• The ability to help students learn movement material during class
• Organizational skills for tracking student attendance
• Leadership and pedagogy skills to run practice sessions (if necessary)
• Interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently with integrity
• Must have the Hip Hop dance class period fee and attend all class meetings
• Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual
