About The Position

This position is for a Dance Assistant Coach at Pasco High School, within the Pasco School District. The role involves assisting with the dance program, ensuring compliance with WIAA and district rules, and supporting the development of student-athletes. New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening.

Requirements

• Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
• Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
• High School Diploma, required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level.

Responsibilities

• Mentor coaches within the program.
• Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
• Attend District training regarding concussion management.
• Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
• Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
