About The Position

The Dairy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dairy department, including merchandising, inventory management, customer service, product quality, and associate supervision. This position ensures the department maintains in-stock conditions, fresh products, and attractive displays while meeting sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals. Requirements

• Supervise daily dairy department activities to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
• Monitor stocking levels and ensure products are replenished promptly.
• Maintain department conditions that support sales, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Execute merchandising plans, promotional displays, and seasonal programs.
• Ensure proper product rotation and inventory management practices are followed.
• Provide direction, training, and daily supervision to dairy associates.
• Assist with onboarding and training new associates.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.
• Assign and monitor work activities to ensure operational goals are met.
• Communicate department priorities and company initiatives effectively.
• Maintain attractive and fully stocked dairy displays.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Ensure pricing, signage, and promotional items are accurate and executed according to company standards.
• Minimize shrink through proper inventory control, rotation, and handling practices.
• Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with product selection and inquiries.
• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote product knowledge and assist customers in finding solutions that meet their needs.
• Support a positive shopping experience for all customers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards.
• Monitor product dates, temperatures, and storage conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe department environment.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support achievement of department sales, gross profit, labor, and shrink goals.
• Monitor department performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist leadership in controlling expenses and driving operational efficiencies.
