The Dairy/Potato Machine Operator position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for the annual discretionary bonus program up to 5%.

Requirements

1 year of manufacturing experience preferably in the food industry
Experience working in temperature-controlled settings (30-45 degrees)
Proven record of accomplishment in safe working practices
Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment
Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time
Ability to operate a pallet jack / forklift
Must be able to read and write English.
Position requires basic mechanical aptitude.
Must have good attendance and safety record.
Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, reach, and use hands to feel objects, tools, and controls.

Responsibilities

Plan all activities to reduce downtime.
Follow the company GMP’s.
Take instructions from supervisors.
Operating the efficient running of production machinery.
Maintain time and production records of machinery.
Ability to follow instructions and work with the minimum of supervision.
Troubleshoot problem areas and develop solutions.
Maintain clean and safe working environment.
Comply with Company Policies and Procedures.
Accurate and timely completion of required documentation to enable clear traceability.
Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes.
Communicate an end of shift breakdown / Hand-off to the next shift.
Any other tasks deemed reasonable and requested by management.
