About The Position

This position is responsible for driving trucks over established routes to safely and efficiently deliver products and render services. The role involves collecting money from customers, making change, and recording transactions. Loading and/or unloading products at various locations, primarily within a specific geographic territory, is expected and usually completed within the shift. The driver will deliver items such as perishable foods, table top items, special equipment, and frozen foods. Responsibilities also include informing customers of new products or services, distributing sales promotion materials, resolving customer complaints, recording information on daily sales/delivery records, and obtaining customer signatures upon pickup/delivery. The driver must comply with company policies and D.O.T. regulations and perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a current Driver’s License and clean driving record for past 39 months
Must be available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

Delivery experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred
