About The Position

This is a part-time union position in the Dairy/Frozen Foods department at Cub Foods Uptown. The role involves making connections with customers, filling and rotating cases, assisting with receiving and merchandising products, maintaining a clean and sanitary store, and working collaboratively with the team. The position requires individuals who are friendly, outgoing, and committed to customer service. Preference may be given to those with experience in dairy-frozen roles, stocking, load cutting, and displaying cases, as well as those motivated for career growth.

Ability to work with the team on all necessary tasks
Commitment to being part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled
Physical ability to lift/carry over 50 lbs
Physical ability to push/pull to 2000 force lbs
Physical ability to walk, reach, stand, stoop/bend, squat, kneel
Ability to perform repetitive motion: turning, bending
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, paging system
Mental ability for judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, and basic computer skills
Ability to work in environmental conditions including extended exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces

Responsibilities
