About The Position

The Daily Revenue Clerk, under the direction of the Resort Operations Controller, is responsible for processing the Resort’s revenue audit on a nightly basis. This position is accountable for recording and maintaining the daily transactions incurred by the various resort departments, recording and distributing the daily statistics to appropriate departments and/or key employees as directed, and assists the Accounting team as needed. The role requires strong computer skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently under pressure with strict deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior accounting office experience preferred.
  • College courses in accounting or related fields helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve daily postings from all staff personnel that have entered financial transactions throughout the day.
  • Balance and record all posting transactions made in various Resort areas including Spa, Golf Operations, Retail Operations, Food & Beverage Outlets, Accounting Offices, Membership and Group Billing, and Audio/Visual Operations.
  • Close any open outlet tickets and run register.
  • Process, record, and submit for payment all credit card transactions.
  • Post room tax and any additional fees to all occupied rooms on a nightly basis.
  • Record all cash, check, gift card, gift certificate, and credit card transactions.
  • Pull daily and month-end reports to balance and clear data for gift cards, gift certificates, and casino vouchers.
  • Ensure accuracy of all final numbers and details imported to the master sheet for accounting leadership review.
  • Cross-train in other areas of accounting to assist co-workers if needed.
  • Maintain a record of Accounting deadlines and monitor their completion.
  • Assist in the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports used by Resort departments.
  • Provide strong support in the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department.
  • Maintain a good rapport with fellow employees and reflect a positive attitude.
  • Complete all assignments requested.
  • Follow proper grooming and dress standards.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisor.
  • Understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort.
