About The Position

They work within clients' homes and surrounding communities to provide individualized support, innovative therapies, and exceptional service. As a caregiver at MAS, you will have access to a 24/7 support team, ensuring you are never alone and always have assistance available. This specific role is for Daily Living Support (DLS) for clients in or near Frankfort, Maine.

Requirements

1-year of experience working with adults with severe, and persistent mental illness
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Clean driving record and background check
Active motor vehicle insurance & registration
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Patient, trusting, communicative, and innovative personality traits.
Basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes. Training is available.

Responsibilities

Provide care to adult clients.
Provide supervision and therapeutic support to people struggling with severe and persistent mental illness, to help them achieve the highest level of independence possible.
Provide individualized support within the clients' personal home and surrounding community.
Safely transport the client within your own personal, reliable vehicle.
Utilize basic understanding of smart phone applications, access to email communication, and awareness around processing electronic documents such as daily session notes.
