Requirements
- Valid DA AVOP and Valid PURPLE RAIC.
- Availability to work the designated shifts.
- Ability to lift to 70 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Understanding of airside safety protocols and airport procedures.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Availability for irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Physically capable of performing tasks related to baggage handling.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in airside operations, ground handling, or aviation is an asset
Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles in airside areas as per DA AVOP regulations.
- Transport baggage and other essential items between designated airport locations.
- Lift, load, and transport items weighing up to 70 lbs. as part of baggage handling.
- Comply with airport safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-use inspections of assigned vehicles and report any issues.
- Assist in baggage handling and ground operations if required.
- Respond to on-the-job emergencies as per safety procedures.
