About The Position

About the position: Velosio is looking for a Senior Consultant to be an integral member of the BC Enterprise Team. As a Senior Functional Consultant at Velosio, you will provide functional and technical consulting services for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software projects, leads client engagements, design operational solutions, and mentors team members while ensuring successful delivery and high client satisfaction. Your day might look like: Lead and deliver Business Central implementations with a primary focus on Operations modules, including: Inventory Purchasing Sales & Distribution Warehousing Manufacturing (process or discrete) Gather, analyze, and document client business processes and requirements Design functional solutions and map business processes to Business Central Lead or significantly contribute to: Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) Fit/Gap analysis Functional documentation (FRD/FDD) Training and UAT Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout implementation and post‑go‑live Support or lead ISV integrations, commonly including Insight Works and other operations‑centric add‑ons Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and other consultants to ensure project success Senior‑Level Expectations Lead full‑cycle BC implementations or major workstreams Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for BC Operations Handle complex client scenarios with minimal oversight Maintain strong client‑facing communication Contribute to: Knowledge sharing Mentorship of junior consultants Internal process improvement and best practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related technical field or equivalent experience
Dynamics BC implementations experience with 5+ years ERP implementation experience in Operations
Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Certification (MB-800)
Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (MS SQL Server, MS .NET, MS SharePoint, MS Business Intelligence)
Ability to translate experience in distribution or manufacturing environments to creatively solve client business/application issues
Experience with modeling business process and translating requirements into a business application
Excellent presentation and communication skills targeted to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups, and/or board of directors
Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed
Possess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in-person

Nice To Haves

Certificate in Dynamics Business Central
Strong working knowledge of Insight Works App,cations (Warehouse Insight, Dynamic Ship, Product Configurator, etc.)
Project Management and/or experience with best practice implementation methodologies
