ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. As a Design and Engineering (D&E) Lab Technician, this role will support product development by performing hands-on build, prototyping, proof-of-concept, diagnostic and troubleshooting testing, of electrical and mechanical systems, in a consistent, repeatable, safe and efficient manner. Another key responsibility is to support at least one of ASML’s development labs which includes maintaining testing equipment, instrumentation, and tooling in a ready state, including but not limited to calibration tracking, configuration management of test stands and test equipment, and safety monitoring as well as other tasks in support of projects and production operations. The third primary responsibility is ownership, planning, and scheduling activities within the lab, and maintaining the lab with a 5S environment. Basic computer skills are required for test stand operation, as well as for scheduling and communicating with customers. This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). As a condition of employment, qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
