About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Czech teacher to provide customized, one-to-one general Czech instruction to a beginner student aged 65 or older. Lessons are online for a client in the United States. The course totals 100 hours, with one-hour sessions planned twice per week, Mondays and Fridays at 10:30. The preferred start date is ASAP. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability, and the hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

The student wants to learn Czech because of their family connection to Prague and has studied with Duolingo for three years. They are seeking beginner instruction and help with questions that self-study has not addressed. This is a freelance, part-time position. Requirements

• Be a native Czech speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit or visa; the company is unable to sponsor visas.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location.
