As a Cytotechnologist, you will perform duties using established and approved protocols that require a broad use of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision, for patients of all ages. This includes accessioning, preparation and processing of cytology and molecular specimens according to standard operating procedures, assisting in the collection of radiologic fine needle aspirations, screening and evaluating all gynecologic and medical cytology preparations for the presence of atypical or malignant cellular changes, and providing the pathologist with their interpretation of these preparations. You will also assist in the data management of pathology computer files and participate in an on-going Quality Assurance program.
