About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
  • Successful completion of a CAAHEP accredited Cytotechnology program.
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
  • CT (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) certification required.
  • If candidate is a new graduate, must pass CT certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Certification must be maintained by submitting appropriate continuing education documentation to certifying agency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples.
  • Analyze cellular material for abnormalities.
  • Document findings and report results.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality control procedures.
