About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join their Pathology team. This role involves screening and reporting negative gynecological cytology cases, identifying and referring abnormal cases to the pathologist, and screening non-gynecological specimens for abnormalities before pathologist examination. The position is full-time, working 72 hours biweekly on day shifts with no weekends, holidays, or call required. The starting pay is $37.40 per hour and up, based on experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology from an accredited school of cytotechnology OR certified by a certification agency approved by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Cytotechnologist Certification
Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
A copy of the applicant's/employee's diploma and/or transcript as confirmation of the education requirement must be provided at time of hire
