About The Position

We’re hiring experienced OD/ID Grinding Specialists and Turning (Lathe) Machinists to take on complex aerospace and gear industry parts in a fast-paced job shop. Requirements

• Demonstrated, strong OD/ID grinding experience (must be clearly shown on your resume)
• Background in a precision machining environment
• Proven ability to perform setups independently
• Capability to program, perform calculations, and run your own setups
• Confident reading prints and making parts from scratch
• Comfortable with frequent setups in a job-shop environment

Nice To Haves

• Aerospace or gear industry experience preferred
• High-precision contract shop experience is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate OD/ID cylindrical grinders for high-complexity parts
• Dial in to demanding tolerances with confidence and consistency
• Interpret detailed prints and verify dimensional accuracy
• Support a precision-first environment with rigorous attention to detail
• Independently perform setups on turning lathes
• Program, calculate offsets, and run your own setups end-to-end
• Read prints and produce parts from raw material
• Work efficiently through frequent setup changes typical of a job shop
