About The Position

Airgas is hiring for a Cylinder Requalifier 2nd Shift in Belton, TX! We are looking for you! This role will perform maintenance on, and prepare cylinders for gas fill, ensuring the safety and readiness of our equipment. The Cylinder Requalifier organizes and prepares cylinders by size and product to ensure a smooth workflow. They attend to the condition of empty cylinders through visual checks, and contribute to safety by performing hammer and odor tests. This role refreshes safety valves on cylinders to maintain high standards of operation. The Cylinder Requalifier ensures accurate labeling by updating cylinder information and maintaining the professional appearance of cylinders through painting. They support the team by maintaining a safe and organized workspace for all contributors.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator’s license.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

• Mechanically inclined and good with tools.
• Prior forklift experience
