About The Position

In this role you will adhere to all Linde plc Safety Policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, and site specific safety requirements. You will apply basic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Control principles to all tasks. Count incoming cylinders, verify lot numbers and load/unload trucks as required. Responsible for inspecting returned cylinders for surface defects and following procedures for safe handling and storage. Identify and separate defective cylinders from production and transfer them to designated quarantine areas. You will review, document and confirm proper calibration of equipment ensuring all equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance. Safely operate a forklift and hand truck to support loading, unloading and warehouse material movement. Fill cylinders in accordance with established guidelines, including completing all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and maintaining cylinder filling records in compliance with applicable regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Good written and customer service skills, with effective communication and ability to interface with co-workers
Basic computer ability
Motivation and high energy
Ability to read and understand DOT and FDA paperwork
Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines
Flexibility to adapt to changing customer demands
Ability to convey information clearly
Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds and maneuver weights up to 100 pounds
Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures
Ability to perform prolonged standing and frequent physical motions

Formal forklift training and experience
Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
