About The Position

Air Liquide Electronics innovative electronic materials respond to increasingly challenging customer demands for improved mobility, connectivity, computing power and energy consumption. We offer ultra pure carrier gases, a wide range of specialty gases and advanced precursor molecules, enabling equipment for safe distribution, purification and on-line purity control. On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years experience in manufacturing or industrial environment, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Adapt to a teamwork environment
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment
  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude
  • Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/mechanical rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry

Responsibilities

  • Choose and prepare the proper packaging for a given product or order
  • Review and ensure containers meet DOT regulations and Air Liquide SOPs
  • Set up, operate, and support product trans-fill systems for pure inert gases and inert gas mixtures
  • Perform the necessary fill calculations for weight and pressure additions
  • Document and share all required product fill data
  • Scan containers and communicate any observations
  • Recover products from cylinders and detox as applicable
  • Help sustain adequate raw material inventory level and report month end quantities
  • Help sustain adequate finished product inventory levels
  • Coordinate and fulfill finished product from stock to satisfy customer orders and other requirements
  • Work within established protocols and identify the best preparation procedures for a given product grade and service
  • Perform minor reviews and/or preventive maintenance on equipment and may seek guidance and collaboration when it is time to collaborate on solutions for equipment issues
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
  • Maintain housekeeping of the general work area
  • Engage with and support SOPs and be encouraged to provide potential improvement ideas
