Requirements

  • Capacity to lift and move cylinders weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance or equipment.
  • Frequent standing, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments.
  • Ability to safely handle compressed gas cylinders and heavy equipment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures and regulations meticulously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, medical gas, or industrial settings is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safe filling, inspection, and maintenance of medical oxygen cylinders and related equipment.
  • Filling cylinders according to established procedures and safety regulations while ensuring compliance with FDA, DOT, and OSHA standards.
  • Conducting thorough inspections for damage, leaks, and proper labeling.
  • Operating essential plant equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate records for quality checks and inventory.
  • Monitoring oxygen purity levels and performing routine quality assurance testing.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
  • Supporting timely delivery of oxygen products to patients and healthcare facilities.
