About The Position

The Cycle Counter is responsible for performing cycle counts in all warehouse locations at least once per quarter. This role involves identifying products, counting quantities, and entering this data into the PkMS system. The position requires accuracy, speed, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to operate RF scanning devices and the PkMS warehouse management system. Occasional operation of forklift equipment is also part of the role, requiring certification.

Requirements

  • Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes to ensure proper counting of DC inventory.
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Operational access to PkMS - Menu DCAMENU20 or Menu DCAMENU40 if no access to RF Outbound is required or if access to PkMS Reports is required.

Responsibilities

  • Cycle Count every location in the warehouse at least once a quarter.
  • Go to an area where inventory is located; identify the product, count the quantity at that location and enter it into PkMS.
  • Cycle Count a specified number of inventory locations according to the prescribed quota as set by management.
  • Perform repeat counts as dictated by management review of cycle counting data.
  • Perform general housekeeping of the facility and specific inventory area to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow and adhere to all safety rules including the handling of hazardous materials.
  • Proper handling and filing of inventory reports and other associated paperwork.
  • Be responsible for and operate RF scanning devices on a daily basis.
  • Understand and operate PkMS warehouse management system.
  • Print, monitor and process tasks based on Crystal and PkMS report data.
  • Occasionally operate forklift equipment – certification required.

Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $19.00 an hour up to $22.29 after 12 months of employment
