About The Position
A successful Warehouse Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory. The Cycle Counter will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write, count, communicate by various channels.
- Minimum six-month job experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Extremely organized with relentless attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Actively observe and promote ATW safety standards
- Work directly with the purchasing team, shipping and receiving team, and production team to resolve inventory shortages, inaccurate counts, theft, defects.
- Establish a cycle count schedule using and ABC classification, determine inventory grouping, and a count frequency.
- Conduct daily cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials.
- Track all counts and review results daily with supervisor.
- Maintain a detailed record for all inventory count activities.
- Lead and perform root-cause analysis when count variances are identified.
- Identify and correct inventory issues and discrepancies.
- Audit supplier deliveries, and the overall receiving process.
- Assist during monthly inventory audits.
- Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.
