About The Position
This is a hands-on warehouse position focused on keeping inventory accurate, locating materials, researching discrepancies, and making sure physical inventory matches system records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse, inventory control, cycle counting, or material handling experience preferred
- Experience with SAP, WMS, or RF scanners is a plus
- Forklift or reach truck experience preferred
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Ability to identify and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Reliable attendance and good communication skills
- Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift
Responsibilities
- Perform daily and scheduled cycle counts throughout the warehouse
- Compare physical inventory counts to system records
- Research shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies
- Update inventory using SAP/WMS systems and RF scanners
- Verify bin locations and locate misplaced materials
- Assist with inventory audits and discrepancy reporting
- Work with warehouse and production teams to resolve inventory issues
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Help improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency
- Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures
