About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control lead. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by performing scheduled cycle counts, researching inventory discrepancies, and working with warehouse and production personnel to resolve inventory issues. This position plays a key role in supporting efficient operations and ensuring accurate inventory records.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in inventory management, preferably in manufacturing.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in inventory records.

Nice To Haves

Experience using inventory management systems.
Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification.
Manufacturing or distribution experience.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cycle counts according to established schedules.
Compare physical inventory counts to system records.
Investigate and document inventory discrepancies.
Work with warehouse, receiving, shipping, and production teams to identify and resolve inventory issues.
Verify inventory locations and maintain accurate stock records.
Assist with inventory audits and annual physical inventories.
Enter count results and inventory adjustments into the inventory management system following company procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
