About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Cycle Counter to play a part in one of the world’s most essential industries. In a global business like ours, the opportunities are endless. This role is responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete. The core responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records in alignment with site procedures. Ensure all inventory entries, updates, and adjustments are correctly reflected in the warehouse management system. Complete daily inventory management activities to support accurate stock levels and operational reporting. Process inventory adjustments for overages, shorts, damaged, or defective products in accordance with policy. Perform routine clerical tasks such as filing invoices, organizing inventory documentation, and maintaining audit-ready records. Follow all established inventory control procedures, safety rules, and work instructions. Communicate inventory issues, progress updates, and findings clearly to management. Perform other duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Supervisor to support inventory integrity and overall site performance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records in alignment with site procedures.
  • Ensuring all inventory entries, updates, and adjustments are correctly reflected in the warehouse management system.
  • Completing daily inventory management activities to support accurate stock levels and operational reporting.
  • Processing inventory adjustments for overages, shorts, damaged, or defective products in accordance with policy.
  • Performing routine clerical tasks such as filing invoices, organizing inventory documentation, and maintaining audit-ready records.
  • Following all established inventory control procedures, safety rules, and work instructions.
  • Communicating inventory issues, progress updates, and findings clearly to management.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Supervisor to support inventory integrity and overall site performance.
  • Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
  • Ensuring the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
  • Researching all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
  • Researching shipping errors and completing validation.
  • Checking for product recalls.
  • Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
