About The Position

The Cycle Counter Position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse by performing scheduled cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and ensuring product locations are correct. This role requires experience operating warehouse equipment, including a stand-up reach truck, Sit-down forklift and use of a cherry picker, as well as proficiency using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • Experience operating a stand-up reach truck and cherry picker required.
  • Proficient in the use of RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet productivity standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working at heights while operating a cherry picker.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience as a Cycle Counter, Inventory Control Associate, or similar role preferred.
  • Inventory control and reconciliation experience.
  • Stand-up forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other WMS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Use RF scanners to verify inventory quantities, locations, and product movements.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies by researching transactions and physical stock.
  • Operate a stand-up reach truck and cherry picker to access inventory stored in high-rack locations.
  • Verify inbound and outbound shipments against inventory records.
  • Assist with inventory audits and physical inventory counts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of count results and inventory adjustments.
  • Ensure products are stored in designated warehouse locations according to company procedures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, receiving, and production teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations while operating material handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
