About The Position

Gildan is a leading manufacturer of everyday basic apparel with a strong portfolio of brands. Gildan operates vertically integrated, large-scale manufacturing facilities and is committed to industry-leading labor, environmental, and governance practices. The Cycle Counter - High Reach position is responsible for locating specified bulk and finished goods cases in the reserve warehouse using an RF scanner, determining and correcting errors on scanned cases, and reporting recurring discrepancies to the Inventory Control supervisor. The role may involve other duties as specified by the supervisor.

Requirements

Reading and writing literate
Ability to stand 6 to 7 hours each day
Ability to lift 30+ pounds
Will work at both facilities - Cleveland and Canterbury
Associates applying for positions requiring Power Industrialized Equipment usage must successfully complete a physical before being moved into the position. The move MAY NOT occur until certain physicals / health checks are deemed acceptable

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of computer (AS400)
Forklift license
Basic calculator knowledge
Basic RF scanner knowledge
Knowledge of inventory status

Responsibilities

Locate specified bulk and finished goods cases in reserve warehouse using RF scanner
Determine and correct errors on cases scanned
Report recurring trends of discrepancies with inventory to Inventory Control supervisor
Perform other duties as specified by supervisor
