About The Position
The Cycle Counter I helps manage inventory by counting products and comparing the inventory-to-inventory logs and documents. Requires use of forklifts and pallet jacks. First Shift - Overtime as needed on evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Understanding of basic inventory control procedures.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Ability to use a forklift (previous experience preferred)
- Basic math and analytical skills (required)
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performing various warehouse inventory counting and porting operations with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Counting numerous items daily to validate inventory accuracy and system integrity.
- Governing the cycle count process by adhering to Logistics Distribution Warehouse Cycle Count Program Procedures and corporate policy.
- Researching inventory discrepancies.
- Preparing various reports related to the cycle counting process.
- Performing audits and writing receipts of inventory.
- Tracking and reporting on uncommon products.
- Developing solutions for inventory issues.
- Inspecting products and keeping a record of damaged goods.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
