About The Position

As a Cycle Counter, you’ll be part of our Mission team located in Mission, TX. You’ll get to: Cycle counts raw materials, WIP, finished goods, consignment, and non-conforming materials to maintain established count and accuracy goals. Review SAP transactions to resolve inventory discrepancies. Report inventory shortage adjustments to scheduling and/or purchasing to avoid production delays and customer backorders. Root cause analysis and reconciliation of the count discrepancies. Create monthly inventory and root cause analysis reports. Attend meetings and follow-through with dispositioning. Maintain item and location labeling using 5S visual management. Assist in preparation of physical inventories. Assist in the implementation of improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs and maximize working capital. Drive a forklift or other powered industrial trucks to perform tasks as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Organized with strong attention to detail and ability to apply problem solving skills
• Experience with cycle counting and/or inventory movements
• Ability to communicate verbally and/or in written form effectively
• Excellent math skills and ability to read/write in English
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Must possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Schedule flexibility. Must be able to work overtime if needed to assist at closing end month
• Self-confident, motivated and proactive
• Ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

• 1-year experience in Warehouse environment preferred
• Knowledge of SAP and Webdynpro systems preferred
• Previous experience driving a forklift or similar Powered Industrial Truck within a warehouse preferred
