About The Position

The Cycle Count Auditor conducts cycle counts to validate the accuracy of raw and finished goods inventories and pre-production and post-production processes against Xylem’s financial records. The auditor accesses inventory in racks and floor locations using equipment unique to the position and performs audits that the Inventory Analyst Team analyzes for correctness. Audits are conducted using a handheld scanner connected to Xylem’s ERP system. The position reports directly to the Inventory Manager and is performed entirely in a warehouse environment.

Requirements

Associate degree in a related field and/or proven job experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment using the identified core skills.
Advanced mathematical skills.
Command of lot-code/date-code and unit-of-measure inventory.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting established targets and completing related reporting.
Ability to operate the powered industrial vehicle(s) unique to the position.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Comfort working at elevated heights.
Compliance with Xylem PPE requirements, including safety glasses, a Hi-Viz vest, and safety-toe shoes.

Responsibilities

Accurately determine items in racks and floor locations before and/or after production.
Scrutinize inventory to ensure all items and quantities are accounted for.
Use highly sensitive scales to accurately count smaller bulk items by weight.
Key in or scan relevant data using a handheld scanner.
Verify lot codes, units of measure, inventory dates, and other critical information against Xylem’s system of record.
Operate equipment unique to the position to access inventory in elevated locations while following Xylem safety protocols and PPE requirements.
