About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. At Mission Technologies, the Warfare Systems team, delivers full-spectrum cyber and electronic warfare capabilities that safeguard our nation against today’s rapidly evolving, multi-domain global security threats while anticipating the challenges of tomorrow. The Warfare Systems team is seeking a Cyberspace Operations Analyst to support a new initiative with one of our key clients. This effort focuses on unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, enhancing DoD cyber capabilities, and integrating expertise across the Department of Defense. This role may involve a non-traditional work schedule. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and be prepared to work off-shift hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 operations. Requirements

  • 0 years of experience with a Bachelors in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of experience in providing support to a cyberspace center.
  • Possessing a general understanding of cyberspace analytic basic concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Performing cyberspace analysis and incident analysis.
  • Collaborating with federal cyber centers to determine root causes and provide perspective on a cyberspace situation, incident, or event.
  • Contributing to the development of cyberspace situational awareness products.
  • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on cyberspace operations, capabilities, and vulnerabilities.
  • Contributing to the development of analytic approaches and recommendations to problems and situations for which data is incomplete, controversial, or which no precedence exists.
