About The Position

This role involves leading the implementation and management of cybersecurity programs, ensuring compliance with DOE/NNSA requirements and Cyber Security Program guidelines. The specialist will develop and maintain local cybersecurity policies, procedures, and long-range plans, provide advice and training to personnel, and interpret national cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

• US Citizenship Required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of four (4) years of directly relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of classified and unclassified cybersecurity programs at each site office.
• Ensure compliance with DOE/NNSA requirements and Cyber Security Program guidelines.
• Develop and maintain local cybersecurity policies, procedures, and long-range plans aligned with mission objectives and higher-level directives.
• Provide advice and training to personnel on proper implementation of cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Interpret and apply national cybersecurity standards and develop and promulgate local cybersecurity policies, procedures, and long-range strategic plans.
