About The Position

The Cybersecurity Solutions Staff member designs information systems, including application architecture and database interfaces. The role gathers and translates user requirements into secure system designs, ensures compliance with established methodologies, and integrates automated security checks. The position supports Maryland state agencies in modernizing and sustaining critical systems and is required to be performed on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
At least seven years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
At least four years of experience in the direct design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

Design information systems, including application architecture and database interfaces.
Gather and translate user requirements into secure system designs.
Ensure system designs comply with established methodologies.
Integrate automated security checks.
