Cybersecurity Engineer (Mid)
About The Position
Interclypse is supporting Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. The Cybersecurity Engineer implements, manages, and optimizes cybersecurity solutions to protect organizational information systems. The role configures, maintains, and troubleshoots security platforms, including SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management systems, and network security controls. It also provides ongoing support for cloud infrastructure, system development, and maintenance, including building secure systems and resolving issues. The position is required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience in systems engineering or network administration.
- At least three years of experience implementing and administering enterprise security tools.
- Demonstrated experience with interactive, real-time systems and security monitoring.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
Responsibilities
