About The Position
Interclypse is supporting Maryland state agencies in modernizing and sustaining critical systems. This position provides technical leadership for implementing and optimizing cybersecurity solutions, operationalizing Zero Trust architectures, and integrating AI and automation to enhance threat detection. The role serves as a subject matter expert for security engineering and architecture services. Senior incumbents may also serve as a lead. All positions are required to be onsite at various locations in Maryland.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least eight years of experience in systems engineering, network administration, or cybersecurity.
- At least five years of experience managing security engineering projects and leading technical responses during major cybersecurity incidents.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the implementation and optimization of cybersecurity solutions.
- Drive the operationalization of Zero Trust architectures.
- Integrate AI and automation to enhance threat detection.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for security engineering and architecture services.
- Manage security engineering projects and lead technical responses during major cybersecurity incidents.
