About The Position

This position will primarily support the sales and marketing teams, attending client presentations to represent and speak to Voya's Cyber Security Program. The role involves developing and delivering information security presentations, discussing technical concepts with various audiences (non-technical, technical, and executive), and serving as the internal information security expert for client sales support meetings. The advisor will be the single point of contact for information security for client cybersecurity questions, manage and facilitate security responses to customers (both written and on-site), and provide responses to client requests on all aspects of information security. Additionally, the role includes training client relationships and sales support staff on information security topics and industry trends. A high level of business acumen and experience working with C-suite/VP level personnel is expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a directly related field.
  • Six to eight years of professional IT experience.
  • Experience in security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols.
  • Excellent analytical ability, consultative and communication skills, and strong judgement.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in information security in a sales support role.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required.
  • Experience in systems preserving personal information and/or health information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and stakeholders; a strong client and executive presence.
  • Excellent delivery, self-awareness, and leadership skills to connect with our clients and sales support teams.
  • Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills; ability to complete multiple concurrent tasks within close deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Minimum travel 30%.
  • Personable and approachable, with the ability to quickly assess and adapt to the dynamics of any room.
  • Demonstrates adaptability and readiness to accommodate changes in plans with minimal notice and without disruption.
  • Effectively communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences in a clear, approachable and professional manner.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to fulfilling responsibilities by being adaptable regarding time and location to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Demonstrates the ability to acknowledge when an answer is not immediately available and commits to providing a timely and accurate response.
