About The Position

The C5ISR Center Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) is a premier defensive cyber operations organization supporting the Department of War (DoW). Operating 24x7x365, the CSSP provides continuous monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management across a diverse, multi-tenant environment. Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to support a large-scale cyber engineering program within this high-visibility environment. In this role, you will partner with senior program leadership, technical leads, and engineering teams to plan and execute cybersecurity and IT modernization initiatives while managing schedules, risks, resources, and project deliverables. Projects may include new technology and application deployments, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity enhancements, and migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline with 4+ years of IT project management experience; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience managing IT projects involving technology deployment, infrastructure modernization, web application development, cloud migration, or similar technical initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, milestones, risks, deliverables, and competing priorities.
  • Experience providing oversight and direction to small technical teams supporting infrastructure or technology deployments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting schedule and budget requirements.
  • Ability to proactively manage tasks and projects through completion with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating project status to technical and senior-level stakeholders.
  • U.S. citizenship with an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, defensive cyber operations, Security Operations Center (SOC), or DoW/DoD environments.
  • Experience managing cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity engineering, or application deployment projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, or other modern technology delivery methodologies.
  • Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent.
  • Cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, GISP, or another relevant industry certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple cybersecurity and IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Define project scope, objectives, priorities, and success criteria in coordination with technical and program leadership.
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and schedule impacts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional technical teams supporting infrastructure modernization, application development, cloud migration, and technology deployments.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules, priorities, and resources as requirements evolve.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across teams to maintain alignment and ensure dependencies are effectively managed.
  • Provide clear project status, risk, schedule, and performance reporting to internal leadership and Government stakeholders.
  • Support resource planning and assignment of project activities across technical teams.
  • Perform project quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet program and customer expectations.
  • Facilitate effective communication among technical teams, program leadership, and executive stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while supporting geographically dispersed teams.

Benefits

  • Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
