Requirements

  • Detailed understanding of security frameworks (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and or GAIC certifications preferred): NIST (CSF,800-53,800-171), CJIS, CIS Critical Security Controls
  • Positioning and selling security consulting engagements.
  • Cybersecurity maturity assessments.
  • Penetration Tests.
  • Compromise Assessments.
  • Tabletop Exercises.
  • Deliver customer facing tabletop exercises.
  • Next generation firewalls from leading providers: Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE/Juniper (SRX), Cisco (vendor certifications preferred).
  • EDR/MDR solutions from leading providers: CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Palo Alto, Sentinel One, and others.
  • SIEM and SOAR solutions from leading providers: Azure Sentinel, Palo Alto, Cisco, Tines.
  • OSI network model, general Ethernet switching, and TCP/IP routing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in an applicable technology field.
  • Two (2) or more years of pre-sales engineering experience.
  • Proven ability to design and implement large-scale solutions including budgetary and detailed cost estimating.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate customer requirements into bill of materials (BOM) and system design.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent customer presentation skills.
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead impactful customer presentations and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtually; work closely with sales to develop and nurture customer relationships while executing both strategic and tactical objectives; actively contribute to proposal creation and tailored solution presentations.
  • Attend on-site customer meetings as required, providing technical expertise, solution guidance, and ensuring alignment between client needs and proposed architectures. Travel to customer locations will be needed based on project requirements.
  • Provide Architect Level oversight on large, complex projects, ensuring best practices in design, implementation, and integration, while maintaining technical leadership throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Deliver architect-level technical support during project startup and, when necessary, after implementation, guaranteeing a seamless transition and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Identify, position, and promote opportunities for MGT’s MSP solutions, including Monitoring, Element Management, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
